AATC at the tekom spring conference

At the tekom spring conference (European Association for Technical Communication) in Koblenz, one of our AATC members, the Upper Austrian language service provider “GORNIK translators for industry” gave a presentation in the category Professional Language with the title Lost in translation? headlines, list elements and GUI labels. The presenter, Elisabeth Gornik, discussed formulations found on a wide variety of websites and introduced guidelines for formulation based on the different text functions.
